The July 4th fishing weekend has started very slow.  I did not go fishing until late Saturday for about 2 hours.  Went to Scales creek and fished the mouth where small croakers and reds were biting on dead shrimp.

Tomorrow I may go to Queens creek and see if any reds or specs. are biting, or I might finally take the "W" out on the surf.
